GLEBE MEADOW FISHERY
The Glebe Meadow complex has now become one of Northamptonshires most improved fisheries. Much work has taken place in the last couple of years including the construction of a new access road.
Totalling over 100 pegs the fishery consists of Isabelle's lake as well as the main river and both banks of the backwater down stream of the bridge on the River Nene at Ditchford. Isabelle's Lake is open for business all year.
The lake is a barbless hooks only, silver fish water, recently stocked with thousands of roach, skimmers, crucian carp & tench, along with some other species including the odd barbel.
Isabelle's Lake is available for pleasure anglers and can be booked for matches.
The main river Nene which runs alongside the match lake has produced a winning club match weight of over 150lb of bream and chub. The river also holds pike, tench, carp, roach, eels and perch. The backwater also plays host to some very big river carp.
Acces to the fishery is via a combination padlocked gate, So it is essential to contact the fishery before turning up.
Parking by most pegs is possible. Short walks, quality fishing, natural and peaceful surroundings, safe parking, stillwater, moving water, specimen fish.
Day Tickets are just £4 and is all available from the bank.
From 1st April Overnight camping will be available.
